Deliver Pre-Planned and Reactive Maintenance

As an Engineering Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art automated fulfilment centre in Purfleet. You will diagnose equipment breakdowns, resolve issues in a timely manner, and complete repairs where possible. You will also handle the Computerised Maintenance Management System, maintaining accurate data records to meet Engineering KPIs.

You will work closely with the Engineering team to analyse engineering failures and find solutions to improve Mechanical Handling Equipment performance.

About You

If you are looking for a challenging role in your Engineering career, this position is ideal for you. You will ideally have a formal Engineering qualification, along with hands-on experience. A good technical understanding of automation hardware and software, as well as working knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, and conveyor systems, is essential.

You should be organised and meticulous, with great analytical skills. You must be able to communicate effectively and share knowledge and best practice with your peers. You will also need to be comfortable working safely at height and willing to work to a 24 hour shift pattern.
