Deliver Pre-Planned and Reactive Maintenance

As an Engineering Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art automated fulfilment centre in Purfleet. You will diagnose equipment breakdowns, resolve issues in a timely manner, and complete repairs where possible. You will also handle the Computerised Maintenance Management System, maintaining accurate data records to meet Engineering KPIs.

You will work closely with the Engineering team to analyse engineering failures and find solutions to improve Mechanical Handling Equipment performance.

Requirements

You will ideally have a formal Engineering qualification, along with hands-on experience. You should have a good technical understanding of automation hardware and software, as well as a working knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, and conveyor systems.

You are a natural problem solver with great analytical skills, and you can communicate effectively with your peers. You are comfortable working safely at height, and you are happy to work to a 24 hour shift pattern.
