Job Title: Import Merchandiser

Location: South Manchester

Job Type: Permanent

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Import Merchandiser to join our team at our busy head office in South Manchester. As an Import Merchandiser, you will be responsible for merchandising orders from artwork stage to bulk production and final approval.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Design and Sales Teams to input into Cad designs at an early stage.
  • Focus on buying samples and submissions/approvals with retail buyers.
  • Send design artwork packs to overseas factories.
  • Contract and check factories for styling and product details.
  • Process retail purchase orders and ensure they are correct before processing.
  • Receive pre-production strike offs/samples/lab dips from overseas factories and arrange submissions/approvals with buyers and licensors.
  • Check print positions/templates.
  • Maintain internal and retail critical paths to ensure all orders are on time.
  • Manage shipment delays with factories and customers.
  • Work on internal product development systems, production schedules, and retailer systems.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in merchandising and a strong understanding of the apparel industry. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team and have excellent communication skills.
