Delivering Exceptional Customer Service

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Catering Assistant to join our team at Mitie. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation in our dining areas.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and maintenance of dining and service areas, including setting up furniture, trolleys, and cleaning equipment.
  • Serving food in correct portions and washing dishes, cutlery, and other catering equipment.
  • Daily cleaning of all catering areas and adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Cash collection and banking, maintaining records and procedures, and undertaking key holding responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Previous catering experience in a similar environment is desirable, but not essential as comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Adequate numeracy, literacy, and communication skills are required.
  • A strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team are essential.
