Job Opportunity: Lifting Engineer

About the Role:

GAP Lifting Hire & Sales offers a comprehensive range of lifting equipment and accessories. As a Lifting Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining lifting equipment to a high standard, both in the depot and off-site. This includes diagnosing and repairing faults, updating service records, completing test certificates, and maintaining a clean and tidy workshop area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair lifting equipment faults
  • Service and maintain lifting equipment to a high standard
  • Update service records and complete test certificates
  • Maintain a clean and tidy workshop area

Requirements:

  • Experience working as a Lifting Engineer/Fitter or mechanically biased role within a busy depot environment
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing lifting equipment faults is essential
  • LEEA qualification is highly desirable
  • Ability to work on own initiative and assist other team members when required
  • A customer-focussed approach to their work and strong attention to detail
  • Valid driving licence is preferable
