We are representing a leading healthcare provider in search of an experienced and dedicated Consultant Psychiatrist to join their Male PICU service at a hospital in Birmingham.
The Role:
As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be at the forefront of clinical care, leading and managing patient treatment within the Male PICU service.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Taking clinical responsibility for patients, leading multidisciplinary ward rounds, risk reviews, strategic reviews, and helping to shape a therapeutic environment.
- Providing expert psychiatric assessments and treatment for a diverse patient population, including those with complex mental health needs.
- Leading patient care within your specialty, ensuring the highest standards of clinical care, and fostering a recovery-oriented approach.
- Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, therapists, and nursing staff, to develop holistic, person-centred care plans.
- Engaging in clinical governance activities and contributing to quality improvement initiatives within the service.
