The Role

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Executive to join our team on a fixed-term basis. As a key member of our compliance function, you'll play a vital role in providing second-line assurance across our product lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the compliance function in promoting good customer outcomes and attending governance forums.
  • Contribute to the delivery of our Annual Compliance Monitoring Plan.
  • Continuously improve Compliance Review systems and processes.
  • Report to management on levels of Compliance Assurance and/or any issues arising from specific monitoring activity.
  • Identify, communicate, and advise on changes in FCA and other associated regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of departmental policies and compliance controls through regular reviews and updates.
  • Provide advice, guidance, direction, and interpretation to the business.
  • Review and approve financial promotions for the business, ensuring compliance with relevant regulation.
  • Handle Compliance queries in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Provide compliance input into Group developments, including product launches and systems developments.
Requirements
  • Able to identify poor customer outcomes and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Experience in a Compliance role, including performing Monitoring reviews.
  • Sound knowledge of FCA & CCA regulation.
  • Knowledge of the Senior Managers & Certification Regime and Consumer Duty requirements.
  • Experience with unsecured personal loans, car finance, and/or second charge mortgages.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Objective, timely, and confident decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize your own workload.
