We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join our dynamic and inclusive nursery team at Willing Care. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to early childhood education and a passion for creating a safe and nurturing environment for young children.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Level 2 Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for engaging in hands-on activities with children, supporting their learning and development, and creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere within the nursery. You will work closely with the lead practitioners to ensure that each child receives the best possible care and educational experiences. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the lead practitioners in planning and delivering engaging and inclusive activities for children
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in your care
- Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Contributing to the creation of a diverse and inclusive learning environment
- Assisting with daily routines such as meal times, naps, and outdoor play
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Level 2 qualification in Early Years, knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child development, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team. You will also need to have a positive and nurturing approach to working with young children.
