Job Overview: Our client specializes in fleet vehicles, including transits, sprinters, and various other LCVs. As a Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex vehicles, utilizing your strong understanding of automotive systems and proficiency with diagnostic tools and software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnostics and repair of engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues
  • Routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Utilization of diagnostic tools and software to resolve complex problems
  • Accurate record-keeping of work performed and parts used
  • Effective communication with customers regarding vehicle issues and repair recommendations

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 equivalent or higher in Vehicle Technology
  • At least 1 year of experience as a vehicle technician
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and software
  • Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities
  • Valid driver's license
