Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician to join our team at Ford & Slater Limited in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced technician looking to work with a leading DAF Truck dealer.
About the Role
As a Nightshift HGV Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a wide variety of trucks and vehicles. Your excellent technical knowledge and diagnostic skills will ensure that repairs are carried out according to manufacturers' procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Servicing and maintaining trucks and vehicles
- Fault diagnostics
- Road testing vehicles (subject to licence restrictions)
- Maintenance of accurate records and paperwork
Benefits
The successful candidate will receive an estimated salary of £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include overtime at premium rates, DAF training and development opportunities, and a competitive pension scheme.
