Heavy Goods Vehicle Mechanic

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Goods Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at Dept. of Recruitment Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring they meet DVSA requirements.
As a key member of our workshop team, you will work independently but also as part of a collaborative and supportive team environment. We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, based on experience.
The ideal candidate will hold a full driving license, a valid LV3 qualification (City and Guilds - NVQ or equivalent) related to commercial vehicles, and have extensive experience in diagnosing, servicing, and maintaining LCVs and HGVs.
In addition to your technical skills, you will possess excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a willingness to participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
Benefits include overtime incentives with top-tier pay, an annual tooling scheme worth £1,500, career progression opportunities, and free on-site gym facilities.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, minimum 40 hours plus overtime, with an expectation of 4 hours working on alternate Saturday mornings. A full CV is required for this role.
