About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our team at The Belfry Hotel and Resorts. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that our chefs have a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete a daily schedule of cleaning tasks to maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Clean and maintain all kitchen utensils, china, cutlery, and equipment, storing them in a tidy and safe manner.
- Clean floors, tables, and other surfaces in the kitchen and preparation rooms.
- Set up buffets and kitchen service, and perform other duties as necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
About You
We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service, has a positive approach to their work, and is able to work under pressure in a team and on their own initiative. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
