Occupational Therapist Community Rehabilitation Specialist

About the RoleThis permanent position offers a competitive salary of £37,338 - £44,962 per annum (pro rata) and a full-time working pattern. The successful candidate will work with our clinically innovative community OT team to deliver recovery and treatment opportunities for service users.
Main Duties- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans to support transitions from secure care to less restrictive environments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Utilize assessments and approaches to clinically formulate needs for treatment, ensuring evidence-based practice.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Evidence of postgraduate training in relevant subjects, such as models or sensory integration.
- Strong understanding of recovery approaches and principles, including knowledge of secure care and barriers to community transition.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
