English Teacher and Literacy Lead

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced English Teacher and Literacy Lead to join our team at a Good-rated school in Wembley. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English at KS3 and KS4 and leading literacy initiatives across the school.
About the Role- Teach English at KS3 and KS4
- Lead literacy initiatives across the school
- Work collaboratively with the leadership team to develop and implement literacy strategies
Our school is a popular and oversubscribed mixed secondary school in Wembley with excellent transport links. We have a strong academic track record and were rated Good in our most recent Ofsted inspection. Our students are well-behaved and capable, and we have a positive culture that supports both student success and staff wellbeing.
Requirements- Qualified English Teacher with QTS
- Experience or interest in leading literacy across the curriculum
- Formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
- Legal right to work in the UK
