Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our client on a part-time, temporary to permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be proficient in Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the day-to-day data entry of Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll
  • Administer BRCGS Legislation
  • Raise, distribute, and factor sales invoices
  • Approve and input purchase ledger invoices
  • Assist in credit control as needed
  • Conduct monthly balance sheet control reconciliations
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations
  • Handle general administration tasks
  • Manage payroll using Sage 50
Requirements
  • Good telephone manner and communication skills
  • Proficient typing skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience using Sage Accounts software
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow set procedures and work to deadlines independently
  • Exceptional communication skills to liaise with all internal and external departments
