Job Title: Apple Mac Support Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Apple Mac Support Specialist to join our team at Apache Associates. As a key member of our IT support team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support for Mac devices, ensuring seamless operations and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide expert-level technical support for Mac devices, troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Incident Management: Manage and prioritize support tickets, ensuring resolutions align with service level agreements (SLAs) and maintaining accurate, comprehensive ticket records.
  • Problem-Solving: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, escalating when necessary and ensuring tickets are detailed for efficient handover.
  • Communication: Provide clear and concise communication to clients, ensuring they are informed and updated on the status of their issues.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay informed about emerging IT trends and technologies, ensuring you are up-to-date on the latest Mac support tools and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 4 years of experience working in a Mac help desk environment, with the last 2 years working at 2nd line.
  • Technical Skills: Solid experience of Mac support with JAMF, JumpCloud, and Addigy, coupled with Windows desktop and server experience. Additionally, experience with MS365, AWS, DHCP, and DNS is highly desirable.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
