Role Overview

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in energy project management, with hands-on knowledge within the property/infrastructure industry. Strong negotiation and leadership skills are also essential.

About the Role

  • Identify and assess energy development sites to drive business growth and success.
  • Draft and negotiate option & lease agreements, ensuring favorable terms for our partner.
  • Lead planning applications and stakeholder management to secure project approvals and maintain positive relationships.
  • Manage and coach junior team members to enhance their skills and contribute to the team's overall performance.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement effective strategies to identify and acquire prime energy development sites.
  2. Analyze site feasibility, evaluating factors such as location, accessibility, and regulatory compliance.
  3. Negotiate with landowners and other stakeholders to secure options and leases, achieving optimal outcomes for our partner.
  4. Liaise with local authorities and other regulatory bodies to ensure smooth planning application processes.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of successful energy project management, preferably within the property/infrastructure sector.
  • Familiarity with property/infrastructure industry practices, including market trends and competitor activity.
  • Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and external partners.
