Job Title: Assistant Shop Manager

We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Shop Manager. The successful candidate will have 1-2 years of management experience and a strong background in optics, team building, and recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Support the Store Manager in delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Store Operation: Ensure the smooth operation of the store by working closely with headquarters departments.
  • Team Management: Manage dispensing activities and be responsible for team members' optical learning and progression.
  • Brand Ambassador: Act as an ambassador for Cubitts, educating and exciting others about our mission.
  • Communication: Communicate daily focuses to the team underpinned by our brand values.
  • Product Knowledge: Explain eye health, eyewear, and prescription terminology to patients.
  • Training: Provide exceptional product knowledge, explaining features and benefits of lenses and Cubitts frames.
  • Leadership: Lead and train on Cubitts Bespoke services, supported by marketing-leading technology.
  • Meetings: Participate in weekly trade calls and monthly meetings setting focuses and goals.
  • Procedures: Ensure company procedures are followed to protect inventory and assets.
  • Development: Provide training and development for all team members.
  • Launches: Oversee product launches with flawless execution each time.

About the Role:

  • The salary for this role is estimated to be around £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week, Monday to Sunday.
