Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. As a key member of our children's community team, you will play a vital role in providing specialist occupational therapy advice and support to children and young people with developmental disabilities or other medical conditions.

Main Duties

As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing client-centered specialist occupational therapy advice and input to children and young people with developmental disabilities or other medical conditions.
  • Collaborating with other professionals, educational staff, parents, and carers to address the occupational performance issues of children with a range of needs.

Person Specification

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who:

  • Has a degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Has experience of delivering therapy within an occupational performance framework.
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and is able to work effectively with children, young people, and their families.
