Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our client's team in Glastonbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a broad range of accounting and commercial responsibilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accounting function, including accounts payable and receivable, monthly management reporting, bank reconciliations, VAT preparation and submissions, and generating financial reports. You will also work closely with the Managing Director to provide ongoing commentary on financial performance and liaise with external partners such as Chartered Accountants, HR Consultants, and solicitors.

This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a salary of up to £35,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience.

Our client is a well-established engineering business based in Glastonbury, seeking to recruit a talented individual to manage their accounting and administration function. The company uses Sage accounting software and requires a strong IT aptitude and sound knowledge of MS Office products.
