Maintenance Team Lead

As a Maintenance Team Lead at Brambles, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities and equipment.
Job Summary
We're currently seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Team Lead to join our team at our Severnside Plant. In this role, you'll be responsible for leading the maintenance team and ensuring that all site equipment and facilities are properly maintained and upgraded. You'll work closely with our engineering team to implement continuous improvement initiatives and optimize equipment performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage maintenance activities and delegate tasks to team members as needed.
- Develop and implement a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule to ensure all equipment is properly maintained and upgraded.
- Audit and ensure compliance with engineering data systems and safety protocols.
- Optimize equipment performance and product quality by developing and implementing key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the maintenance team.
- Develop and implement business improvement opportunities and identify areas for cost reduction.
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
- City and Guilds, apprenticeship, HND, or HNC in an engineering-related discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge and experience with mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
