Casualty Broking Director Opportunity

Aon is seeking an accomplished Casualty Broking Director to join our London office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for broking large, sophisticated liability led risks into the insurer marketplace.

About the Role

This is a hybrid role that offers the flexibility to work both virtually and from our London office. You will be working closely with our casualty brokers to develop and implement our broking strategy, ensuring that all activity is carried out compliantly within our UK Broking Strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Owning the UK Casualty Broking function and managing trading relationships with insurers
  • Analysing the insurance markets and briefing colleagues as appropriate
  • Developing, coaching and mentoring junior brokers to become the best they can be
  • Acting as the Strategic Account Broker on our most complex global accounts across product lines
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent understanding of insurance market dynamics and core processes
  • Excellent technical UK casualty insurance knowledge
  • Experience of managing effective global client relationships
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • High level of numeracy
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Demonstrate integrity and professionalism
