Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Field Service Engineer to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of overhead cranes and lifting equipment across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and test overhead cranes and lifting equipment to ensure they are in good working condition
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including electrical and mechanical components
  • Troubleshoot and fault-find complex electrical and mechanical issues
  • Ensure health and safety protocols are strictly enforced and adhered to
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in heavy machinery maintenance
  • Experience as an Electrical Engineer within heavy machinery
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including overhead cranes and lifting equipment
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
