Job Opportunity: Teaching Assistant for Primary School

Hays Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a well-run primary school in Leyland. The successful candidate will work closely with the Class Teacher to support students in a Year 1 class, providing individualized attention and helping to identify pupils who may need additional support.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience working with children, either in a school or similar setting. A Teaching Assistant or childcare-based qualification is desirable, but not essential. The successful applicant will be required to pass Hays vetting and DBS process.

Hays Education offers a competitive daily rate of £80 per day, as well as access to our extensive online learning platform, where you can complete training packages such as "safeguarding" and "managing SEND in the classroom". These courses are fully accredited and come with a certificate, free of charge.
