This sought-after role is perfect for a passionate skincare enthusiast who is keen to join our GdC Beauty Group team.

As a world-renowned skincare specialist, we are looking for an expert to deliver exceptional daily skincare workshops and treatments, showcasing our luxurious brand and products to customers within the Berkshire region.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver in-depth knowledge of the Germaine de Capuccini brand, including its cutting-edge skincare and exotic rituals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a high-quality experience and product knowledge throughout daily interactions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Achieve monthly retail targets, demonstrate a lead-by-example approach, and regularly implement incentives to drive sales.
  • Ensure a culture of high standards of cleanliness and presentation within the department.
  • Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels, including brand visual merchandise, to meet customer demand and achieve targets.
  • Commit to delivering treatments to the highest possible standards, upholding the brand's global reputation.
  • Act as an ambassador for the Germaine de Capuccini brand, embodying its values and exceptional customer service standards.
  • Assist with administrative duties, including maintaining a daily calendar, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and other administrative tools to effectively manage tasks and responsibilities.
  • Assist with customer transactions and provide exceptional customer service throughout.
  • Responsible for maintaining high standards of treatment hygiene within the treatment environment.
  • Be flexible and prepared to support the business needs when required, including attending customer and industry events.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience within the Beauty/Spa/retail industry as a therapist.
  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional customer service, and demonstrating strong skincare product knowledge.
  • Trained face and body therapist up to NVQ Level 3 /City & Guilds or equivalent.
  • Advanced electrical treatment training is preferred but not essential.
  • NVQ / City and Guild Level 2 with 2 years experience also considered.
  • Strong retail experience, confident in using IT, including PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about skincare, possess exceptional communication and presentation skills, and be able to engage effectively with customers. Self-motivated, they should be comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Adaptability is key, as they will need to adjust to changing workloads due to the fast-paced nature of the beauty industry and our luxury brand.
