About the Role

We are seeking a Clinical Supervising Lawyer to work in the Student Law Office at Northumbria University. The ideal candidate will have recent and sustained experience of working as a Solicitor or Barrister in areas relevant to the activities of the Student Law Office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and representation to Student Law Office clients
  • Supervise students in the Student Law Office who are assigned to cases for which you are responsible
  • Perform appropriate Law Firm related administrative tasks within the Student Law Office

About the Team

The Student Law Office is part of Northumbria Law School, one of the largest law schools in the UK. The team is committed to delivering high-quality legal services to clients while providing students with valuable learning experiences.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need a Good Honours degree in Law (at least 2:1) or equivalent, and a track-record of continuous personal development. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team and communicate complex legal information to clients.
