About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Supervising Lawyer to join our Student Law Office team. As a qualified Solicitor or Barrister, you will provide legal advice and representation to clients, supervise students in the Student Law Office, and perform administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice and representation to Student Law Office clients
  • Supervise students in the Student Law Office, including effective delegation and regular meetings
  • Perform Law Firm-related administrative tasks, including updating academic staff via student appraisal comments
About the Team

The Student Law Office is part of Northumbria Law School, one of the largest law schools in the UK. We are a research-intensive university that unlocks potential for all, and we are committed to creating an inclusive culture where we take pride in, and value, the diversity of our staff.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have recent and sustained experience of working as a Solicitor or Barrister in areas relevant to the activities of the Student Law Office. You will also have a Good Honours degree in Law (at least 2:1) or equivalent, and a track-record of continuous personal development.
