Regulatory Affairs Specialist

We are seeking a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to lead our regulatory approach, including developing and enhancing the risk management framework. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a forward-thinking consumer lender that delivers responsible financial solutions and exceptional value to its customers.
About the RoleAs Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you will be responsible for embedding a strong compliance culture aligned with FCA requirements, monitoring regulatory developments, and providing expert guidance to business areas. You will also lead the firm's approach to Consumer Duty, including delivering the annual Consumer Duty Report.
Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in compliance and risk leadership, including SMF 16 status, and a track record of implementing and managing compliance frameworks and risk strategies within financial services. They will also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Embed a strong compliance culture aligned with FCA requirements.
- Develop and enhance the risk management framework.
- Monitor regulatory developments and provide expert guidance to business areas.
Salary: £100,000 - £130,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including 30 days holiday and potential bonus earnings.
