Job Title: SEN Learning Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Learning Support Worker to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a variety of settings.

About the Role:

As a SEN Learning Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to students with SEN, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans, and provide emotional support to students as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with SEN in a variety of settings, including classrooms, playgrounds, and other areas of the school
  • Assist students with their learning, including providing one-to-one support, small group work, and whole-class support
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans in collaboration with teachers and other support staff
  • Provide emotional support to students, including helping them to manage their behavior and develop coping strategies
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure that students receive consistent and high-quality support
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with students with SEN, preferably in an educational setting
  • Full-time availability preferred, but part-time opportunities may also be available
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other support staff
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach
  • Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism and confidentiality
