Job Title: SEN Learning Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Learning Support Worker to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a variety of settings.

About the Role:

As a SEN Learning Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to students with SEN, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans, and provide emotional support to students who require it.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with SEN in a variety of settings, including classrooms, playgrounds, and other areas of the school.
  • Assist students with their learning, providing one-to-one or small group support as needed.
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans, working closely with teachers and other support staff.
  • Provide emotional support to students who require it, helping them to manage their emotions and behaviors.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure that students receive the support they need to succeed.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with students with SEN, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Full-time availability preferred, but part-time opportunities may also be available.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other support staff.
  • Reliable and punctual, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality support to students.
  • Access to a vehicle and a valid driving license, as some roles may require travel between schools.
