About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Communications and Events Officer to join our Student Support Team at the University of Bath. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in communicating our services, activities, and interventions to support student wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create engaging campaigns, content, and communications to promote student wellbeing and services.
  • Oversee our web presence, ensuring accurate and clear information is available to students.
  • Develop and implement digital and social media strategies to share key messages and promote student wellbeing.
  • Organize and lead on the planning of wellbeing weeks, events, and workshops to support student wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with our wider services and colleagues to promote their work and support students in need.
  • Welcome new students to the university and help them feel part of our community.
About the Team

Our Student Support Team provides advice and support to over 4000 students each year, covering areas such as advice, wellbeing, therapeutic services, money advice, disability, student success, and international support.

What We Offer

This is a part-time role, working 21.9 hours per week, with the opportunity for some hybrid working. The role may include occasional weekend and evening work, particularly during the academic year.
