Community Engagement Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Community Engagement Coordinator to join our team at Avon Park Retirement Village in Limpley Stoke, Bath.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing events and activities that engage residents and the local community. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents and their families.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a community engagement plan that meets the needs of our residents and the local community.
- Work collaboratively with the village Residents' Association and its elected Committee and Officers.
- Facilitate the village community engagement plan and ensure that all residents are aware of upcoming events and activities.
- Assist with the move-in process of new residents and provide a warm welcome to our community.
- Work with residents and village staff to ensure a wide and varied program of activities that cater to different interests and abilities.
- Build working relationships with external providers, suppliers, and organizations within the local community.

- Previous experience in event planning and community engagement.
- A professional approach with high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills and a real 'can-do' attitude.
- A genuine interest in providing quality service to customers and residents.
- Enthusiasm, passion, and the ability to build rapport with ease.
- An awareness of basic Health & Safety.
- An approachable and open manner – able to demonstrate empathy.
