Nuclear Regulatory Compliance Officer

The Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) is looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Nuclear Regulatory Compliance Officer.

In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring that duty holders comply with relevant legislation and regulations.

You will work closely with stakeholders, including industry professionals and regulatory bodies, to identify and address any compliance issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Investigate non-compliance issues and take enforcement action when necessary.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve compliance and reduce risks.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant field, such as nuclear engineering or physics.
  • Experience in nuclear material accounting or safeguards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Salary: £68,143 per annum (plus £4,194 London Weighting Allowance if applicable).
