">About the Role
">This is an exciting opportunity for a Product Definition Specialist to join our Combustion, Turbines & Exhaust Engineering Team in Bristol.
">As a Product Definition Specialist, you'll create component models and definition drawings in line with company practices to meet design intent, satisfying fit, form and function of the component while optimising for manufacture.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- ">
- Develop, maintain and manage master models, definition drawings and relevant documentation according to company procedures.">
- Work as part of a multi-discipline team to ensure new and revised component definitions meet design intent and manufacturing requirements.">
- Produce tolerance stack-ups to aid new product creation and validation.">
- Promote and support continuous improvement activities across tools, processes, methods and guidance material.">
Requirements
">To succeed in this role, you'll need:
">- ">
- Experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in conceptual and detail drafting techniques.">
- Familiarity with ISO/British Standard and/or ASME Y14.5M drawing standards.">
- Strong understanding of manufacturing techniques and processes.">
- Proficiency in using Siemens NX and Teamcenter.">
- Appreciation of gas turbine operation and system design concepts (advantageous).">
