Nursing Home Staff Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at a beautiful nursing home in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

Job Summary:

As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage the care of residents with complex needs, including wound management and administering oxygen.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Supervise and support a team of care assistants to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Liaise with GPs and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of infection control policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Hold a relevant nursing qualification and be registered with the NMC.
  • Have satisfactory references and the right to work in the UK.
  • Have experience working with dementia patients and a strong understanding of elderly care principles.
