About the Role

As a senior banking associate at Mills & Reeve, you will be part of our dynamic and supportive team based in Manchester. Job Description:

We are seeking an ambitious and self-motivated professional with between 1-4 years PQE to join our corporate banking team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking and finance, with excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build good working relationships with clients.

  • You will advise banks, alternative lenders, funds, and other corporate and institutional clients on various financing transactions, including corporate banking, asset-based lending, leveraged finance, real estate finance, government finance, and debt capital markets.
  • You will support the corporate and real estate teams on the financing aspects of private equity deals, mergers and acquisitions, property development and investment financings, and other transactions.
  • You will actively participate in business development, both independently and with the wider team, developing and sustaining relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
  • To advise clients on financing transactions and provide expert guidance on complex banking and finance issues.
  • To work closely with the national banking team to deliver high-quality results and meet client expectations.
  • To identify business opportunities and contribute to the growth and development of the team.
