Resident Services Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Resident Services Project Manager to join our Housing team at Carrington West. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative projects that improve services and drive value for money.

The Role

As the Resident Services Project Manager, you will work closely with the Resident Services Management Team to implement essential projects that enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Driving forward service improvements and value-for-money initiatives across Resident Services.
  2. Managing and implementing key projects, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of targets.
  3. Exploring partnership opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining high service standards.
  4. Monitoring and improving service charters and agreements, ensuring consistent performance.
  5. Leading on financial inclusion initiatives to support residents impacted by welfare reforms.
  6. Investigating complaints and underperformance, implementing strategies for improvement.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Significant experience in social housing or a similar environment, managing projects in a dynamic and changing landscape.
  2. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage budgets, lead complex initiatives, and communicate effectively with various audiences.
  3. Deep understanding of housing management best practices, government policy, and relevant legislation, as well as financial exclusion strategies.
  4. A relevant housing or management qualification is desirable, along with Prince 2 or equivalent project management experience.
