Mammographer - Bank Shifts Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammographer to join our team at Bupa, working bank shifts in our health centre in Bristol. As a Mammographer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mammography services to our patients, working independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize the daily work programme to ensure efficient department operations.
  • Work flexible hours to accommodate changing workload patterns.
  • Perform high-quality examinations according to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Ensure patients receive a high standard of care.
  • Analyse acquired data, record results, and produce high-quality images for reporting.
  • Maintain equipment, cleanliness, and report faults immediately.
  • Efficiently use resources, establish stock control systems, and liaise with manufacturers and suppliers.

Requirements:

  • BSc or DCR in Radiography (essential).
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Mammography (essential).
  • Flexible and adaptive working attitude.
  • Strong focus on streamlining the patient pathway.
  • Ability to work closely with the centre manager, Lead Mammographer, and wider MDT.
