About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our Corporate and Institutional Banking Chief Operating Office (CIB COO) supporting the CIB Chief Operating Officer and its Executive Office, working with a wide range of partners across Lloyds Banking Group (LBG).

Our CIB COO encompasses CIB's core Operating functions as well as Platforms, Chief Control Office and Service Delivery.

We're looking for someone who can plan and prioritise, remains calm under pressure, a strong communicator including with senior leaders, who has a proven and working understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word and Powerpoint), and who pays attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities
  • Managing the diary of the COO to ensure the effective use of their time and maximising their ability to contribute to the management and development of CIB COO.
  • Travel management, co-ordination of papers, general office administration and support to the CIB COO Executive Office with colleague engagement activity, e.g. coordination of events.
  • Working closely with other personal assistants within the wider team and across the Group, coordinating PA meetings, holiday covers and other ad hoc PA activities as required.

What You'll Need
  • Strong organisational skills to ensure the Chief Operating Officer is prepared in advance of all meetings with relevant papers, briefings, etc.
  • Advanced diary management, juggling and prioritising conflicts.
  • Travel management – confident direct use of travel management systems and international travel process, able to collate agendas and briefings for international visits and work closely with international teams to ensure time is maximised over short trips.
  • Experience of administration and risk processes and proficient understanding of systems to support the Chief Operating Officer in admin related tasks and ensuring all processes are followed accurately.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure the smooth running of the COO Office and management of senior leaders as required.
