About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to lead our Indirect Category team at Valeo Foods. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for delivering category objectives, cost reduction programs, and a competitive advantage in line with our business strategy and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Category Management: Develop and deliver best-in-class sourcing strategies for our Indirect categories, including Energy, Capex, MRO, and Marketing.
  • Sourcing and Negotiation: Recommend courses of action to deliver category objectives, including optimal sourcing approaches.
  • Risk Management: Proactively map and manage category-related risks.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage stakeholders to build a collaborative working relationship and get involved in areas not previously managed by procurement.
  • Team Management: Manage and develop a small team consisting of 1 Indirect Senior Buyer.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Graduate qualification as a minimum.
  • Experience: In-depth experience in strategic sourcing of Indirect sub-categories, including Energy, Capex, MRO, and Marketing.
  • Skills: Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, results-orientation, leadership, and analytical skills.
