About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to lead our Indirect Category team at Valeo Foods. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for delivering category objectives, cost reduction programs, and a competitive advantage in line with our business strategy and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Category Management: Develop and deliver best-in-class sourcing strategies for our Indirect categories, including Energy, Capex, MRO, and Marketing.
  • Sourcing and Negotiation: Recommend courses of action to deliver category objectives, including optimal sourcing approaches, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve business goals.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a preferred customer status and drive innovation and cost savings.
  • Category Risk Management: Proactively identify and manage category-related risks to ensure business continuity.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a small team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful category management.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate qualification as a minimum.
  • Experience: In-depth experience in strategic sourcing of Indirect categories, including Energy, Capex, MRO, and Marketing.
  • Skills: Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, analytical and quantitative skills, and ability to lead and influence multiple stakeholders.
  • Qualifications: Proven track record of delivering outstanding results and consistent performance.
