Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Camberley Health Centre. As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, individualized care to patients in the community.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based care to patients, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams to assess their needs and develop treatment plans.
  • Teach patients, carers, and peers to promote independence and prevent hospital admissions.
  • Ensure therapy input is integrated into patients' overall care plans, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
  • Operate as an autonomous practitioner, working without direct supervision and at times, lone working.
  • Provide support to unqualified staff and students, promoting a culture of learning and development.
  • Work with managers to develop the service, aligning with patient need, local, and national developments.
  • Maintain accurate records, adhering to local standards and The Royal College of Occupational Therapists' guidelines.
  • Maintain confidentiality, privacy, and dignity of patients, upholding the highest standards of care.
  • Engage in continuous professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and adapting to change.
  • Contribute to team decisions, operating in a collaborative and supportive environment.
