We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hand Therapist to join our team at Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary hand therapy service, you will work closely with consultants and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to patients with a wide range of hand conditions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert assessment and treatment of hand conditions, including post-operative cases
  • Working collaboratively with consultants and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Delivering high-quality clinical care, adhering to professional standards and integrated governance requirements
  • Participating in clinical audit and quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards of care

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent, with registration with the Health and Care Professions Council
  • Further training in hand therapy and experience in splinting
  • Excellent clinical reasoning and rehabilitation skills, with a commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
