Job Title: Lead Security Assurance Co-ordinator

Babcock International Group is seeking a highly skilled Lead Security Assurance Co-ordinator to join our team at the Babcock Technology Centre site. As a key member of our Digital Solutions team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our information systems.

The Role

As a Lead Security Assurance Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and support to our Information Asset Owners (IAOs) and Accreditors. You will have a sound understanding of electronic security measures and configuration management practices for information systems. Your expertise in risk management and security governance will be essential in identifying and mitigating potential security risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance and support to IAOs and Accreditors
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security compliance

Requirements

  • Relevant IT security experience
  • Writing of accreditation security case (RMADS)
  • Experience and knowledge of Government IA Policy, including JSP, JSP, DIANS and NCSC IA guidance
  • Experience of close working relationships with Accreditation Authorities in the UK
