Babcock International Group is seeking a highly skilled Lead Security Assurance Coordinator to join our team at our Babcock Technology Centre site. As a key member of our Digital Solutions team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our information systems.

The Role

As a Lead Security Assurance Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance on security measures and risk management practices. You will work closely with our Accreditor and Information Asset Owners to ensure that our information systems meet the required security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise on security measures and risk management practices
  • Collaborate with Accreditor and Information Asset Owners to ensure security standards are met
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures
  • Conduct security risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation
  • Ensure compliance with government IA policy and NCSC IA guidance

Requirements:

  • Relevant IT security experience
  • Writing of accreditation security case (RMADS)
  • Experience and knowledge of Government IA Policy, including JSP, JSP, DIANS and NCSC IA guidance
  • Experience of close working relationships with Accreditation Authorities in the UK
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain a minimum of Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
