**About the Role:**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Brook Street UK Careers. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of construction projects, including estimating costs, preparing tender documents, and monitoring project budgets.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labour, and equipment, including initial estimates, tender estimates, and final account valuations.
  • Develop tender documents, including bills of quantities, specifications, and contract documents. Evaluate tender submissions and recommend the most cost-effective options.
  • Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Architects, and Contractors to ensure proposed adaptations meet the individual's needs and are practical for the space available.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Proven experience in quantity surveying, preferably in the social care and housing sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary and Benefits:

  • £44,500 - £56,000 per annum.
