Job Description:

The LAW SOCIETY is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Public Affairs team as a Government Affairs Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of our busy public affairs team, leading on our influencing and lobbying work on behalf of our members.

We are looking for a candidate with a keen interest in politics and campaigning, significant experience of working within a government, parliamentary, public affairs, campaigns or related environment, and excellent written skills with the ability to communicate complex issues and develop innovative ways of communicating. The successful candidate will have the ability to collaborate effectively with a broad and diverse range of people within the Society and externally.

The role offers a generous flexible benefits package, hybrid working, and the opportunity to develop your career within a professional organisation. We estimate the salary for this role to be around £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
