Job Title:

Communications Executive

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Communications Executive to join our client's Public and Government Policy Affairs team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic communications advice and support to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide government affairs support: Manage agency teams and draft correspondence to support the company's UK and Ireland operations.

Represent the company externally: Attend meetings with government, political, trade associations, and other industry stakeholders to promote the company's interests.

Develop company positions: Liaise with subject matter experts to develop the company's public policy positions.

Support media relations: Monitor media coverage, respond to press inquiries, and write press releases to maintain a positive public image.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., communications, politics, international relations).

Experience: 1-3 years of experience in public/government affairs/communications or a similar role.

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
What We Offer:

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum.

Location: Canary Wharf, London.

Industry: Energy.
