Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Paralegal/Caseworker to join our esteemed Court of Protection team in Bristol. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the financial affairs of vulnerable individuals, providing practical advice and assistance to those who require it.

About the Role

As a Paralegal/Caseworker, you will work closely with clients, their families, care providers, government bodies, and local authorities to ensure that their financial needs are met. Your duties will include:

  • Managing the financial affairs of vulnerable individuals, including those with limited mental capacity due to diagnosis of dementia.
  • Providing daily support and guidance to clients and their families.
  • Collaborating with care providers, government bodies, and local authorities to ensure that clients' needs are met.
  • Assisting with various administrative duties, including data entry and record-keeping.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Administration experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic accountancy skills or good numeracy skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professionalism, personal touch, honesty, and integrity.
