Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Stakeholder Engagement Manager to join our team at SSE Enterprise. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive stakeholder engagement plans to ensure the needs and expectations of all stakeholders are fully considered throughout the project life cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough analysis to identify all individuals, groups, or organisations that may be interested, affected by, or have an impact on the development of our Pathway to 2030 and beyond projects.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive stakeholder engagement mapping to understand stakeholders' levels of interest, influence, and impact.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary project development and delivery teams to create and maintain comprehensive stakeholder engagement plans.
  • Support the project teams in delivering a range of engagement activities to help our projects achieve consent.
  • Evaluate the success of stakeholder engagement strategies and initiatives and implement continuous improvement in our engagement approach.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and experience of using stakeholder engagement methods and tools to deliver comprehensive and effective engagement plans.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex information succinctly and tailor it to meet stakeholder needs.
  • Confident in building relationships and influencing internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self-motivation, resilience, flexibility, and ability to find the right answers within a fast-paced and diverse engineering-focused organisation.
  • A degree in a relevant field such as Marketing and Communications, Strategy, or Business (or equivalent experience).
